Staged to Sell, People!

I’ve been working with a great couple getting their house ready to go on the market. Yesterday was staging day, and this home looks FABULOUS (if I do say so myself).

This is a beautiful home in the tony Green Hills neighborhood of Nashville. The open floor-plan is contemporary, yet warm and inviting.

Great space for entertaining, flooded with natural sunlight.

This dining room is to-die-for. I really wanted to sit down for a gourmet dinner when I got finished with this beautiful room!

This peaceful master suite has beautiful views and vaulted ceilings.

The gourmet kitchen has granite, double ovens, and a wrap-around counter for barstools.

This amazing media room is equipped with state-of-the-art movie magic.

My favourite room is the entertainment space… I love the pale olive with the accent of deep spicey tangerine…it is a beautiful room, unusual shape and georgeous high ceilings! You’ve done a great job with the colours Kristie.

Looks beautiful! Would love to see some “before” pictures for comparison. I know that my previous house was completely changed after you staged it!

  thanks, amy! i debated doing whole-house before and afters, but i want to respect the homeowners (who read my blog!). they’ll definitely go in my staging portfolio when i have time to update it.

  thanks, suzanne! staging to live is even better 🙂 i know i told you i was going to try to get a post up soon about the French Art Party (Madeline), but i just can’t pull it off yet. i have to scan a bunch of photos (before digital) and try to dig out all my ideas for that party – it was 8 years ago (I can’t believe it!). if you still want ideas, send me an email . . .

  actually, the dining room was already that color and it is beautiful! the homeowner couldn’t remember the name of the color, but it’s similar to Ben Moore’s Dusk to Dawn or Amethyst Sky, i think.
