Decorating for Easter

I love sunshine, colors, and Jesus, so Easter is probably my favorite holiday to decorate for.  I don’t go nuts, but I like to create a few vignettes to brighten up my rooms.

This is my dining room tablescape.   I don’t set it all formally, I just stack some plates and scatter a few of my favorite pieces of milk glass around the table.

Then I add a few of my favorite bunnies!

I usually use lots of eggs and birds around Easter, but those have become so integrated into my normal everyday decor that I need something new so you can tell it’s Easter!  So bunnies are the thing this year.

This is my bunny-filled fireplace mantel.

I recently found this fois bois, or should I say “fake stick” tray at HomeGoods.  It’s perfect to hold my ceramic bunny and a 100-year-old bunny book (Billy Bunny and the Friendly Elephant).

Of course, I must have an Easter tree.  You do have one, don’t you?  I blogged about outdoor Easter egg trees here.

I still have up these cupcake liner garlands my daughter and I made for her birthday party last month.  They seem perfect for Easter to me!

This is one of my favorite things:  a photo of Mr. Man and the Easter Bunny taken in the late 1970’s.  I tuck it into a mirror in my entry.

So, how do you decorate for Easter?

You have a great collection of rabbits there, we don’t tend to decorate a lot for Easter in Australia..it is getting cold here..not spring-like at all! At least in the colder weather chocolate is a wonderful warming comfort food.

This is definitely YOUR holiday! Everything looks beautiful!! Love the bunny on the table (what have you been feeding him?) and the blue glasses, too!
