<td>Isn&#8217;t it about time to hunker down and organize your home office? What, you don&#8217;t have one?  Or you don&#8217;t use the one you have?   It is a certified fact of nature:  when you don&#8217;t like a space, you don&#8217;t use it like you should.  If you love being in the space, it can be a place of comfort, efficiency, and productivity.  Well, have I got inspiration for you!</td>
<td><a href="http://thedecorologist.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Floral-Office-2-from-Country-Living.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1694" title="Floral Office 2 from Country Living" src="http://www.makingarrangementsblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Floral-Office-2-from-Country-Living-234x300.jpg" alt="Floral Office 2 from Country Living 234x300 Feminine and Fun Office Spaces" width="289" height="366" /></a></td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
<p><span id="more-1692"></span></p>
<p>I absolutely fell in love with this vintage-inspired office when I first saw it in Country Living last year.   The color palette is fabulous:  fucshia, lime green, and chocolate brown.   I love the vintage desk chair &#8211; who says you have to have one of those ugly rolling office chairs?  I also love the way they set the desk perpendicular to the wall.    They used a mixture of vintage tin and wooden boxes for storage.  The inspiration board is a must for creative types!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://thedecorologist.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Vintage-Look-Feminine-Office-from-Country-Living.jpg"><img class="size-full wp-image-1693 aligncenter" title="Vintage Feminine Office from Country Living" src="http://thedecorologist.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Vintage-Look-Feminine-Office-from-Country-Living.jpg" alt="Vintage Look Feminine Office from Country Living Feminine and Fun Office Spaces" width="448" height="344" /></a></p>
<p><br class="spacer_" /></p>
<p>Look at this lovely color scheme &#8211; light blue with black and light green accents.  The mirrors look so glamorous grouped on the wall &#8211; you can do the same by gathering disparate mirrors and painting all the frames glossy black.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://thedecorologist.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Molly-Sims-glam-office.jpg"><img class="size-full wp-image-1695 aligncenter" title="Molly Sims glam office" src="http://thedecorologist.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Molly-Sims-glam-office.jpg" alt="Molly Sims glam office Feminine and Fun Office Spaces" width="362" height="448" /></a></p>
<p><br class="spacer_" /></p>
<p>This sophisticated office features a bumblebee palette &#8211; bright yellow with lots of black.  Love the black hanging lantern.  Don&#8217;t forget to use fabulous light fixtures in your office.  Another unexpectantly awesome desk chair.  However, I must question how much actual work gets done in this room.  Look at the very small desktop!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://thedecorologist.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Yellow-and-Black-Office-from-Country-Living.jpg"><img class="size-full wp-image-1696 aligncenter" title="Yellow and Black Office from Country Living" src="http://thedecorologist.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Yellow-and-Black-Office-from-Country-Living.jpg" alt="Yellow and Black Office from Country Living Feminine and Fun Office Spaces" width="394" height="482" /></a></p>
<p><br class="spacer_" /></p>
<p>Ann of Dwelling by Design created this dark pink and apple green floral home office.  Fresh and very Lilly Pullitzer.  A short bookcase behind the desk acts as a practical place to store books and folders, while the top is the perfect place for lighting and a surface for sorting papers.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://thedecorologist.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Anns-office-of-Dwelling-by-Design.jpg"><img class="size-full wp-image-1697 aligncenter" title="Ann's office of Dwelling by Design" src="http://thedecorologist.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Anns-office-of-Dwelling-by-Design.jpg" alt="Anns office of Dwelling by Design Feminine and Fun Office Spaces" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p><br class="spacer_" /></p>
<p>This is the beautiful office that inspired me to do this post in the first place.  Sky blue, lots of white, and black accents.   The black and white glam photography is too die for.  Love the symmetry of the lamps on either side of the desk.  Notice the desk chair?  It could have easily been a stodgy wood-stained dining room table in a previous life.  A little white high gloss paint goes a long way to glamming things up!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://thedecorologist.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Blue-and-White-Feminine-Office.jpg"><img class="size-full wp-image-1698 aligncenter" title="Blue and White Feminine Office" src="http://thedecorologist.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Blue-and-White-Feminine-Office.jpg" alt="Blue and White Feminine Office Feminine and Fun Office Spaces" width="456" height="482" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://thedecorologist.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Blue-and-White-Feminine-Office.jpg"></a></p>
<p><br class="spacer_" /></p>
<p>This lovely little floral office nook may make you want to spend the afternoon organizing just so you can spend time here!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://thedecorologist.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Floral-Home-Office-from-ehow.jpg"><img class="size-full wp-image-1699 aligncenter" title="Floral Home Office from ehow" src="http://thedecorologist.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Floral-Home-Office-from-ehow.jpg" alt="Floral Home Office from ehow Feminine and Fun Office Spaces" width="550" height="550" /></a></p>
<p><br class="spacer_" /></p>
<p>Nothing more feminine and sophisticated than a Paris pink and chocolate brown color scheme.  Again, I love the way the desk projects perpendicularly from the bookcase wall.  And another wonderful light fixture, girls!   Love the Phillipe Stark Ghost Chair.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://thedecorologist.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Pink-and-Brown-Office-via-Laura-U.jpg"><img class="size-full wp-image-1700 aligncenter" title="Pink and Brown Office via Laura U" src="http://thedecorologist.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Pink-and-Brown-Office-via-Laura-U.jpg" alt="Pink and Brown Office via Laura U Feminine and Fun Office Spaces" width="350" height="450" /></a></p>
<p><br class="spacer_" /></p>
<p>A bookcase unit works great as a backdrop for a desk.  Lots of storage and display area.  And the perfect opportunity for punching in some color by painting the backs of the bookcases pink.   The desk is simply a glass top on simple metal supports.  You could even use painted sawhorses beneath the glass.  And you get the slightest peek at a comfy upholstered chair in the foreground where Ruthie Sommers likely takes a break for a cup of Joe and a good magazine.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://thedecorologist.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Ruthie-Sommers-glam-office.jpg"><img class="size-full wp-image-1701 aligncenter" title="Ruthie Sommers glam office" src="http://thedecorologist.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Ruthie-Sommers-glam-office.jpg" alt="Ruthie Sommers glam office Feminine and Fun Office Spaces" width="356" height="468" /></a></p>
<p>Hope you enjoyed these beautiful office spaces as much as I did.  Sometimes we just need a little inspiration to give us the confidence to create a special space all to ourselves.</p>
