| Wanted to share my fun new find with you today! I went to a very interesting estate sale a couple of weeks back. It was the estate of a wealthy doctor in a tony neighborhood in Nashville. The home was built in the late 1960′s to early 1970′s, and it was furnished and decorated to the hilt of that era. I mean gold foil wallpaper, sunken living room (and sunken tub, of course), high-end art. No expense was spared – it was the biggest and best you could get at the time. But then they never touched it again. Not since 1972. A total time capsule – I was walking around with my mouth hanging open. I love that kind of crazy stuff. The bad news was everything was overpriced, no matter how hideous it was. | ![]() |
