Feathering Your Nest: Make Your Own Chandelier

You are NOT going to believe this one.  I found this handmade chandelier that I had to share with you.   Isn’t it glamorous?  Take a guess as to what it’s made of.  Go ahead, I dare you.  No really.  Guess.

Did you guess?  Tampons!

Bet you didn’t see that one coming.   Happy Monday!  🙂

It was beautiful until I saw the up close and personal photo! Gross but so funny…I first thought it might be paper clips

Funny! That is better than what I thought it was — it looked like Oscar Meyer Weiners 🙂 which would spoil and stink eventually…

I just keep asking, “WHY?” and, “WHO would think to do this?” On the other hand, I don’t see how it would reflect light very well. Seems like it would cast some strange shadows around the room.

Amy, an artist who wants to make a splash – that’s who would think to do this! I don’t know where the pic originally came from, but I expect it was in some modern art gallery – certainly not in a lighting store!
