I am in love with this gorgeous bedding from Urban Outfitters! It comes in ivory, gray, petal pink, and yellow. Twin and double/queen sizes, around $150. *sigh* |
Pardon the dark photo, but can’t you just see that Urban Outfitter beauty on my bed? My only fear is overdoing the ruffles, as I have lots of that going on right now elsewhere in my house (see this post). What do you think? |

oh yes. go for it kristie! this screams YOU!!! you can never have too many ruffles.
so, when the cats away the mice will play?
so i suppose that’s one vote yes, one vote no? guess that’s a reason for a husband to try to work in town more – who knows what might happen when he’s out of town. at least i haven’t moved any furniture around this time. yet. 🙂
Kristie, I love it too but I would never suggest this for a master bedroom. Guest or other you bet. Have you asked your husband how he feels about it? – Mitzi Leigh Hinton
Mitzi,
I only have kids’ bedrooms beside the master – no guest rooms! And of course I haven’t asked my husband! Ha, ha. 🙂
Personally, I love it! Just saw ruffles everything at the Atlanta AmericasMart Show. It’s definitely you. Would Phil go for it?
LaJuana,
Honestly, my husband would probably be fine with it if I really wanted it. I’m lucky that way. Can’t wait to go to the AmericasMart with you some day!!!!
Am I terrible because I love your beautiful bedroom the way it is? It is gorgeous already! I would definitely put ruffles on pillows but they don’t really look comfortable enough to relax on for the whole bed…I heart your room!
I’m going with Allison on this one. The ruffles are visually pretty, but not comfy enough to curl up with a good book. Phil, I got your back.
OK, I’m a little late in reading this one…what did you decide? Do tell!! I personally think it would look great in the gray color (not so sure about the pink or yellow, though). However, your bedroom is beautiful just the way it is, too!!
Go for it Kristie!!!
