1. Better organize my house, my life, and specifically my hobby room!
2. Spend more time reading the Bible. Without this rudder, it’s easy to drift with every strong wind that comes our way.
3. Get my children’s photo albums up-to-date. Since I got my digital camera two years ago, I rarely print out pictures anymore!
4. Exercise 3 times a week (yoga, pilates, weights, cardio). Exercise is as much a mental discipline as it is a physical one. Strengthening my body helps me be able to do more than I can in a day than when I don’t carve out the time for it.
5. Drink lots more water.
6. Be more patient with my children. Enough said.
7. Live in the now, not the past and not the future. Living in the moment makes life joyful. If it’s all about memories of the past or dreams for the future, we miss out on daily blessings in the simplest of things.
8. Refuse to allow things that are not in my control rule my emotions. This one is a lifelong journey!
9. Take more chances in my choices. I’m finding that more things are possible if I just step out and try something new. I don’t have to be great at everything, but it’s important to quit thinking I *can’t* do this or that. Hey, maybe I can!
10. Nurture friendships. As I get older I am realizing that although being a true friend is difficult and emotionally risky – but without depth in friendships you miss out on many blessings.
