Ok, so I’m not designing a room in the Southern Living Showcase house like designer Amanda Burdges. But I did help the amazing Amanda of AB Interiors choose just the right color (think pink!) for the ceiling of the guest retreat she is designing for the upcoming designer showhouse.

Ha! Jen C is right…I DID catch it on film!! I had another one that actually shows a better pic of YOU, but it really did not epitomize the frenzy, and movement of our meeting. I just thought that pic of you was so very fitting!!

I LOVE those Southern Living idea houses – it’s always a treat when they build one near enough that I can go. The year we remodeled our master bath they had one about a 45 minute drive away. I took copious notes and used a lot of their ideas in our tiny bathroom and we still love it five years later!
